Calendar America’s Cup 2024

  • 22nd August: America’s Cup opening ceremony.
  • 23rd August: Start of the last preliminary regatta, with all the teams competing for the first time on board their AC75s.
  • Late August to early SeptemberChallenger Selection Series, to decide the team who will face the current defender of the cup – Emirates Team New Zealand.
  • September 26 to October 16: Celebration of the Puig Women’s America’s Cup and the Youth America’s Cup.

 

America’s Cup Match

  • Saturday, October 12th, 2024: Two races scheduled
  • Sunday, October 13th, 2024: Two races scheduled
  • Monday, October 14th, 2024: No scheduled racing (subject to discretion and agreement)
  • Tuesday, October 15th, 2024: No scheduled racing (subject to discretion and agreement)
  • Wednesday, October 16th, 2024: One race (race 5) followed by the Match Women’s America’s Cup Regatta Final
  • Thursday, October 17th, 2024: No scheduled racing (subject to discretion and agreement)
  • Friday, October 18th, 2024: ‘Spare Day’ for up to two races (if required)
  • Saturday, October 19th, 2024: Two races scheduled (if required)
  • Sunday, October 20th, 2024: Two races scheduled (if required)
  • If needed: October 21st to October 27th, 2024: Reserve days for racing to continue if necessary beyond the scheduled dates.

Please note that the schedule is subject to change based on the discretion of the Regatta Director, consultation with competitors, and weather conditions.
